During our first four months in Peru we have been asking of the Lord primarily for ONE THING. Workers for the harvest according to Matthew 9:35-38. We are honored that the Lord is answering our prayers in such a powerful fashion.

In less than 90 days, Joshua Motes, an eleven year veteran of the United States Army will be resigning his commission as an officer and become one of the first to join our team in Lima, Peru. At 29 years of age, his competency in leadership and logistics is impressive to say the least. I wanted to share the prior video that he shot recently at Life Church Olathe, Kansas. In it he is sharing a story of his time in Afghanistan in 2011 and 2012 and you can catch a glimpse of his passion for Jesus. I pray that it will be an encouragement to you as you continue your stand your ground in difficult circumstances. As Josh would advise: Wherever you are, “This is not the place to ignore Him.”

We at MULTIPLi are grateful for this young soldier who has chosen to enlist in a different kind of battle now. Joshua, sensing a call but also carrying the competency for church planting in the harder and darker places of the Earth, makes perfect sense for the MULTIPLi team. Our mission is to “multiply cultures of light and life in seven strategic nations” including places in the middle east. We believe that God is raising up the “sleeping giant” church of Latin America (nearly 100 million believers) to be a powerful missions force in the coming decade throughout the final frontiers of the Gospel. At MULTIPLi our passion is the message of Christ and the mobilization of His Church. Please continue to pray for Joshua Motes and for our developing team of Nationals here in Peru. Joshua is working towards raising his financial support to be a MULTIPLi missions team member. If you would consider buying his book or joining his financial support team, all you would need to do is click the link below. Thank you for playing a role in the story that God is writing through MULTIPLi.
